Our congregation, through our outreach program, has recently taken action to help feed people in need. Through the Matthew 25 Fund, we provided $1,000 each to Lighthouse of Pontiac and to the Good Samaritan Lutheran Church Food Pantry in Pontiac to support their food distribution efforts. In addition, we delivered over 100 pounds of food that you deposited in our Food Basket cart to Lighthouse.
Both Lighthouse and Good Samaritan are asking for volunteer help. Please contact our church office at (248) 646-5041 or office@bslcmi.org if you are interesting in be part of a service team, or you may wish to contact the organizations directly.
