Today’s story involves Jesus calling some of his first disciples, disciples being student followers of a teacher. Over the course of Jesus’s three-year-long earthly ministry, the small community of believers would grow to number 120 people. We continue this work of Jesus by making more disciples, more student followers of Jesus, as he calls us to doing his great commission.
