There is only one God, whom we experience in three distinct persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. To the Father is ascribed the work of creation, to the Son, the work of redemption, and to the Holy Spirit, the work of sanctification (i.e., being made pure and holy), yet the work of God involves all three persons of the Holy Trinity. Today, we focus on God the Son.
