How blessed it was that many of us were able to gather yesterday for our drive-in congregational meeting and carillon concert. We counted 86 vehicles containing at least 134 people and 3 dogs. That is the largest congregational meeting anyone can recall in recent memory. We were also able to celebrate Holy Communion after bringing our own bread and staying safely distant in our vehicles. We kept people in prayer who were not able to attend for a variety of reasons, including health and work requirements. If you were unable to take part in person, know that we kept you present in spirit. Thank you as well to the many people who helped make this happen, especially Al Eicher, Julie Steinmayer, and a large number of ushers/greeters. Please feel free to email me with any feedback at prnik@bslcmi.org.
