MICHÉLE RAMO is an 8 string nylon fingerstyle jazz guitarist, jazz violinist, jazz mandolinist, composer and educator who specializes in bringing American Swing, Brazilian, Gypsy and Latin rhythms together in his playing, as well as composing and arranging for the guitar.

HEIDI HEPLER, singer, lyricist and actress grew up in the midwest outside of Detroit in Livonia, Michigan. Heidi's unique vocal color and range has been described as a cross of Cleo Laine, Sarah Brightman and Yma Sumac.

Michigan Flute Orchestra

The Michigan Flute Orchestra is an ensemble of dedicated and accomplished flutists from the Detroit Metropolitan area. Their mission is to bring a new dimension of ensemble performance to the community with a wide range of music that is entertaining and educational.
The Orchestra consists of Piccolo, Traditional C Flutes, Alto Flutes, Bass Flutes and Contrabass Flutes. This unique group performs a varied repertoire of music which displays the tonal richness and cohesiveness of the flute family.

Classical Bells is noted for bringing music to life with our unique interpretative style, a technique they call "Ringing in Color". TM Each show features musical selections in a wide variety of genres - classical, jazz, inspirational, even ragtime and swing! This eclectic programming, combined with sensitive musical interpretation, technical skill, informal choreography, and a dash of humor, gives Classical Bells the well-deserved reputation of "Michigan's Premier Handbell Ensemble.”
This group of seasoned professionals, led by artistic director, Darlene Ebersole, has performed in concerts nationwide and has appeared as the featured performers with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theater.
Classical Bells is dedicated to promoting the artistry of handbell ringing through educational programs, workshops, and shows in communities, churches and schools.
Dixieland Band Concert

The North Oakland Dixieland Band is a musical group specializing in both "Traditional Jazz" and Swing music from the years 1900 to 1960. We are located in Lake Orion, Michigan and have traveled throughout the state of Michigan to perform.
The band is composed of a four horn front line consisting of Clarinet, Cornet, Tenor Sax and Trombone. Our rhythm Section includes Piano, Tuba, Banjo, Guitar and Drums. This combination of instruments, plus our musicians ability to double on various instruments gives us the unique opportunity to perform various styles of music and vocals from the Traditional Jazz era.
Our concerts and programs involve audience participation with many of our selections urging audience sing-a-longs. Prepare yourselves for a fun evening of entertainment.
Alexander Zonjic Concert

A native of Windsor, Ontario Alexander Zonjic is a 15-time Detroit Music Awards winner with deep and multi-faceted ties to and influence on the city.
​
Over the years, as Zonjic puts it, he has morphed from “that flute guy from Canada” into the owner of a veritable cottage industry as the artistic director and producer of more than 10 annual festival events in the region and philanthropist under the umbrella of his Hi-Falutin Music. .
Believing in Gandhi’s words that the “best way to find oneself is to lose oneself in the service of others,” Zonjic and Hi-Falutin work with numerous large charity organizations in the Detroit area.

Joseph Walters

Joseph Walters, born and raised in Michigan, earned his graduate degree in music at
Oakland University in piano performance studying under Dr. Tian Tian. Joseph has participated in several music festivals, been a recipient of many awards, and has been a finalist in international competitions in the past. He is a two-time winner of the Oakland University Concerto Competition, where he performed concertos by Rachmaninoff and Beethoven with the orchestra. Currently, he has his own private teaching studio and works as a collaborative pianist, including being the choir pianist at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

​Revered as both a torchbearer and a storyteller, jazz vocalist Vanessa Rubin possesses a voice hailed for crystalline clarity, hearth-like warmth and playful lioness sass. The Cleveland native brings a wealth of diverse influences to her vocal performance from both the Trinidadian/Caribbean roots of her mother and traditional jazz by way of her Louisiana-born father.
​
Scott Gwinnell is a professional jazz pianist residing in Detroit, MI. Scott, has been performing since the age of 16 in venues and on concert stages, local to international. Scott has recorded and performed as a bandleader and sideman on over 50 professionally released recordings. As a recording artist for Detroit Music Factory, Scott has released two award-winning albums, Cass Corridor Story and Mulgrew-ology, the latter winning three Detroit Music Awards for outstanding recording, artist, and composer.
